Luomu Koreo / Organic Choreographies is an ongoing multidisciplinary project that brings together dance, ecology, and embodied inquiry. Developed since 2023, the work engages forests as active, complex, and responsive ecosystems — places not only to move within, but to dance with and from.

´I wonder how to develop a deep bond, an intimate relationship with the other - in this case, the natural world - similar to the one between mother and child. And how to infuse my art with the awe of life.

In times when ecocidal trends worldwide cause loss of biodiversity, extraction of natural resources, and threaten the existence of healthy forest ecosystems, I find my voice as an artist through direct experience with the more-than-human world. I am developing an ecology of practice to re-enchant the world around us and strengthen the sense of interconnectedness.

I often return to walking or hiking in the wilderness to tend to the Earth-feet relationship, and seek guidance through meditation and dharma teachings.´

- Dagmara ‘Mara’ Masłowska

The practice is rooted in fieldwork. It draws on choreographic, ecosomatic, and contemplative tools, and contributes to an ongoing discussions on how art can engage with questions of sustainability and nature protection.
